Artist Statement
My work consists of paintings of figurative imagery and an abstraction of nature, lovingly created in my home studio in Harrisburg PA. Using Acrylics and a Pyrographer I create wall art that represents my imagination> I combine bright acrylic paint and pyrography to create pieces rich in texture and color. My work is deeply inspired by the natural world. I often find myself drawn to capture the movement and intricate details of Nature, using intrigued designs that are developed with the use of a burning tool (pyrographer). My goal is to create pieces that inspire a sense of wonder of nature and its movement but also about depth, light, shadow and brightness.
